Yes that’s what I was asked the other day by a friend when I told her my husband was outside blowing bubbles in -5 degree weather.
What happens to bubbles in that kind of weather you ask, well here let me show you!
THEY FREEZE! Now how cool is that? My kids think it is so neat that the bubbles Daddy blew for the the other night are STILL sitting there tonight.
I won’t make you wait any longer because I know your just waiting to see what frozen bubbles look like…. (please excuse the fact that the chair the bubbles are on is dirty, they will be washed again in the spring
)

And here is what happens when you pop those frozen bubbles. They just crumble like fine paper!

So the next time you have REALLY cold weather, but want to enjoy some warm summer fun. Go out and blow some bubbles. It’s sure to put a smile on your face.
P.S~ A small note to help you get your frozen bubbles. It took my husband a few try to get it right. You have to get just the right amount of water and soap mixture for it to work. If there is to much water in them then they pop to fast for them to freeze. If you put to much soap in them then you won’t even be able to form a bubble. Go play around with it and have fun!
